Mimi Kirks (born September 1938) is 77 years old and has been a vegetarian and vegan for the best part of 40 years.
She vibrates health and wellness (she has been voted ‘sexist vegetarian over 50‘) and promotes a raw food diet. Something I love to eat but only in the summer right now. I am in transition for sure…
Mimi work involves promoting health and longevity through a plant-based raw food diet. She is a raw food chef, lecturer and best selling author.
You only have to find videos and images of Mimi to see that she really is a great example of amazing health and of what she promotes.
I never in my life imagined that I would follow a plant-based diet and live without meat. While I have chosen to re-introduce meat into my life but in very small quantities (compared to every day of my life for over 40 years) I really do see and feel the benefits when I eat raw food.
The biggest surprise for me when I looked into raw food was the fact that you can cook (and lightly steam) some food but the heat has to be kept below boiling point.
I have just completed a course or eating raw food myself and am using my knowledge to help myself right now.
Mimi Kirk made my wall of fame because she is a shining example of slowing down age with great nutrition.
“I accredit this youthful look and spirit not only to my attitude, but really to my way of eating which is a raw vegan β living foods lifestyle.” – Mimi Kirk
